[BNM] Thunderbird is broke

Check disk space wherever your profile folder is. Rebuild summary files by
either deleting from the mail directory (don't delete the data!) or by
right-clicking the Inbox and going to properties and rebuild index.

If it's not disk space, though, I'd imagine something's corrupt in the
profile, in which case you could back it up, create a new one, then move
the mail (if you're POP not IMAP) and abook.mab (address book) into your
new one. Filters are a bitch to move, IIRC, as they're in the prefs.js
file which is most often the corrupt one. That might be wrong, but yeah.
