use Apples 'Bootcamp'

Its not VMware - its a separate partition on your HD, FAT (or NTFS)
formatted, with XP installed

Bootcamp provides the setup environment and the translation drivers for
the mac hardware

Its like 2 computers inside one

I have VMware installed too, in the MacOS - but have it configured to
use the Bootcamp partition

Requires an Intel mac tho
