Although if Facebook's links to companies founded by the CIA for data 
mining etc are in fact true, and public-domain (or whatever) then I have 
a feeling that they probably won't go to court over this one.

This isn't so much mud-slinging as muck-raking, and muck does need to be 
raked - if it's not to turn into even worse muck.

Can you imagine what would happen if they tried to sue under these 
circs? They'd be utterly destroyed.
