[BNM] [OT] Hotel recommendations -dorset/devon

Hello

Can anyone recommend a hotel in Dorset or Devon (Cornwall too far I think)?

We're after a few nights away with children. Not too expensive. I don't 
think we can afford a proper summer holiday this year so we're looking for 
a family friendly hotel in the next few months, ideally with
1. The option of adjoining rooms so we don't have to sleep in the same room 
as kids
2. Beach close-by with proper sand
3. indoor fun for rainy days
4. wireless ...... no that's just me I can do without for a while...

We've stayed at the chime hotel (near Bournemouth) before which was quite 
good so we might go for this again. The problem with this was the shared 
rooms so we basically ended up getting pissed quietly in the room after 7pm.

I'm event tempted by centre parks at the moment 
(<http://www.centerparcs.co.uk/>) but the prices are silly.

If anyone can recommend a cheap summer holiday too that would be great. At 
the moment it's the Travel lodge in Birmingham to see family.
