[BNM] [OT-ish] hardware hacker wanted

Thanks for all the helpful responses, however, having dug the thing
out and powered it up, it looks a little too knackered.
It makes a promising beep, but the screen merely whistles and no
cursor appears [which I'm led to believe from googling
should display, even when not connected], so I think the screen is gone.
I fear, as is the way with cutting edge 1982 technology, it hasn't
survived the ravages of time as well as I might have hoped.
Still all is not lost, I shall be ripping the guts out and replacing
it with a knackered Vaio running Linux - so there's hope yet!
