[BNM] the potentially massively long and drawn out MSFT/YHOO thread

  - because of Software Patents,
  - because of attacks on Open-Source (that most of our livelihoods 
depend on),
  - because of Palladium and the whole philosphy that MS has the right 
to control what's on your machine,
  - because of anti-trust violations and monoplistic behaviour
  - because of agressive and destructive "positioning" of microsoft 
"standards" for the last 10 years.

"What the cool kids do" is what the 
kids-who-want-to-appear-cool-and-cynical say when really they're just 
too apathetic or under-informed to stand for anything.
