I've not used the zend stuff, so I can't comment on it.  I'm quite
experienced with both CakePHP and symfony.  CakePHP is significantly
lighter and faster than symfony, however, symfony has a *MUCH* more
capable ORM (propel).

Which I would choose would depend upon how complicated the project
was.  CakePHP is quicker to get going, but Symfony tends to have a
payback later on once you're past the learning curve.
