[BNM] Laptop recommendation

hmm,

now, i just got a new HP nc8430 and a Macbook Pro.

i'm left wondering why i have the HP. the only differences on the HP are....

SD card slot - i use sd cards that are also usb sticks
PCMCIA - erm...
fingerprint security - meh
mouse nipple thing - too many buttons
1680 x 1050 px screen - yeah ok, that's awesome

both run vista... no real difference in performance i can see.

the mac has:

webcam - nice for skype/seesmic
magsafe power lead - seriously, so useful
dvi output - nice
really bright screen - hp is kinda dull looking

the mac also slips into my bag much smoother, connects to my phone on
bluetooth loads better, runs osx when i want it to (duh), is convered
in stickers i want, rather than intel/windows stickers.

to recap: the main thing the hp has over the mac is the screen
resolution. if that's critical, then go hp. otherwise, get the mac
everytime.
