Depends what it looks like, really, doesn't it? France will just be a
vague shape in the distance. OK, wow, we can see our nearest neighbour,
but it's not exactly impressive. You can see nice views of the Downs
much more easily by going to the Downs, where you'll be able to see the
other side of the first hills, which is a nicer view. And as I said, B&H
just isn't that interesting from above, at least to me.
To me, this feels like a version of the CN Tower in Toronto. Going up
that is fine, once, if you're a tourist, but Toronto is bloody huge and
pretty flat, so it gives you an idea of the scale of the place, and a
view of the islands in the lake nearby. We'll get a view of the empty
sea, which is nice but doesn't look much different from the view from
the beach, and the view over a small city. Ooh, look at the rooftops!
Doesn't Hanover look... dull.
