It don't really make a difference to me, as it is out of sight.

But comparing it to the london eye is completely off-beam - the elegance of
the eye is that it is always moving, you get on and off as it moves so no
big crowd all waiting to get on at the same time. This thing must mean a big
queue/crowd wating, then all pile on together, and all pile off together -
no elegance.

I think the west-pier trust thinking that it will raise the money to do
something over the water is cloud cukoo - but that would be totally in line
with their track record (however well intentioned).

Anyone know how much power it will be using?

Oh yes - once it is built, if it works, of course I'll be going on it (at
least once).
