[BNM] Argh - wordpress. I'm getting sucked in, help!

Hi List,

I'm finally having to cross over into the world of wordpress - after  
many months trying to ignore it.

Now I have to create a UX based in a wordpress environment pronto and  
have no idea of it's limitations (read costs of dev). Basically,  
anything out of the box = good, anything plug'n'play easy to implement  
= ok, anything needing lots of dev work to make it pretty = no use.

What I'm really after is a thumbnail and content nav - like on this  
page http://www.redriversolutions.co.uk/see-our-work/?portfolioID=2

Anyone know if it can be done, and a what cost?
