[BNM] PC Buy or build?

Hello,

I tend to build PCs for myself. I'm sure I've asked this before but 
currently looking at new PC. Do you prefer to buy or build? Or rather have 
you recently bought a PC rather than build it for yourself?

I'd like to get an AMD 64 CPU (3Ghzish with 4 Gb ram e.g.  AMD Athlon 64 X2 
Dual Core 6000+ 3.1GHz (AM2) ), an OK gfx card for the odd game (50-100 
quid one) and plenty of hard disk space. Any recommendations? I get an 
educational discount from Dell so will look at that too. I'd usually order 
it all from aria and build myself but off the shelf seems to be cheap at 
the moment.
