[BNM] [ot] searching for a particular joke...

I recall a story of a universite/high school English literature lesson where
2 people sitting next to each other would "buddy" write a story. Each would
write a paragraph and the other would follow on from that. The idea being
that 2 heads were better than 1 and the resulting story would be better.

The anecdote I recall was something along the lines of:

Male and female student. Female student starts with Bronté-esque prose á la
"Mary was lost without her knight in shining armour. After all they had been
through together, she wanted nothing more than her trulove to be reunited in
her arms so that they could dream the lovers dream of eternity together"
etc.
followed by "Chuck couldnt waste time thinking about Mary. He was in the
middle of a laser-fight with Dr Evil from Zorg. As the laser cannons blasted
through the cosmos he could see the evil overlord in his sights"... etc

it goes on to get worse and worse by the paragraph.
it's apparently true and hilarious.
