That's the problem - this guy has no interest in anything but saving  
money (second hand computers, etc.) and doesn't let anyone do anything  
productive. It's meant to be one of the best private media schools in  
the country, and yet everything I hear about their IT infrastructure  
makes me think it's sphincter-puckeringly bad. They can't use macs  
(security issues... that kind of head of IT) they can't download  
anything... they can't use friggin' WordPress for a blog, they have to  
use Blogspot! It's just astounding.

Anyway, yeah, they don't seem to have any kind of data backup, or even  
real network. I'm kind of doing this as a favour, but I was just  
hoping that there was some data protection law that this muppet could  
have his cheese left in the wind over.
