Sadly most of my midi to DMX escapades have involved Avolite desks and
many many dimmers. I used midi to kick off chases years ago on a 7 metre
tower covered in architectural pegs, but have not tried direct midi
channel to dmx channel mapping. I recompiled the xtra this summer for a
quick and dirty job so I do have short midi message code working on
Windoze if you need.
You might be able to hack this through an old PC.
