[BNM] OT: Keeping Locusts

Any one got experience of breeding locusts? A plague seems to have swept
through my sons colony, so we will be cleaning/sterilzing and staring again
once the last few are gone :-(  But we have no idea what caused the problem
(kept clean, warm, fed etc) we can't be sure that the new lot wont succumb
to the same problem... Any experts out in BNM land?
