There is a very good public transport route planner called MetrO, to  
which you can add your own data. It is available on a whole range of  
platforms including phones (inc. iPhone), pdas, web etc. Last time I  
checked it had data sets for pretty much every major and minor city  
in the world. I was producing a data set for Brighton buses but run  
out of energy, although someone else may have done it by now. Check
