[BNM] IIS and REQUEST_URI

Ok, thanks Jay

so we have followed the instructions but here's the thing I am using a
custom error page so at the point at which 404 is redirected to
urlengine.php only then will the php filter be run (the value for
$_SERVER['REQUEST_URI']=/urlengine.php?404) - the original uri appears not
to trigger the filter as it is not actually a php request until it is
redirected..... does this make sense? Any ideas how we can get around this
with another rewrite rule as opposed to a custom 404? Really need urls like
http://www.domain.com/page/subpage to work - of course it works a treat on
Apache...but this site has to run on IIS6....

Ali

I've used the free ISAPI Rewrite download that they suggest in that
blog post. I'd follow those instructions if I were you...
