[BNM] Wordpress index.php redirects to port 80

I'm trying to configure nginx to run on 8080 (so I don't have to take apache
down until it's configured) and it's finally working with php files. However
when I do domain.co.uk:8080 or domain.co.uk:8080/index.php where index.php
is the wordpress main page, it redirects to port 80 and runs off apache.
I'm sure this is happening because if I take apache down it gives me a
server not found on index.php but all other files still work.
Has anyone else run into this?
