Another thing that needs to be done is to lobby the French oil Company
"Total" who have a large investment in Burma.
This is one reason why the EU lags behind the US in terms of sanctions - the
French have basically been blocking any real action within the EU as it
protects their own.

I know the petition is not going to do much, but it is the very least we can
do.
If 1 million people signed it, it would show the government that the people
are very concerned about this, and don't forget there may be a general
election coming up soon.
Better doing a very small little bit than being apathetic ??????
