Hi Rebekah,
Guernica, it could be argued, is an abstracted landscape. According to
Picasso, it 'records' an event in a named time and place [The Nazi bombing
of Guernica] and does not focus on a particular character so I think it's
safe to call it a landscape, even if it's not in the traditional sense.
