[BNM] Live train/bus times (in a handy widget?)

Hello,

I'm looking (not actively doing anything) at a request that's been 
suggested to provide a screen in student residences to show both bus and 
train leaving times.

The bus and train company both have live departure boards which are very 
nice. Has anyone looked at merging this information into one thing browser 
page or widget or something. i was almost thinking of regularly scraping 
the information off the pages but there must be a more elegant way? I'm 
wondering how the information can be best shown on a screen. Is it just a 
case of sticking two browser windows up or are web services available 
(couldn't see any). Ideally this would be shown on a kiosk type screen 
requiring no interaction; other than turning it off and on ocassionally.
