copyright generally means the richest man wins doesn't it?
However, the flaw in all software patents is that the idea and
implementation tend to be so closely entwined, that what is protected and
what is not can be pretty subjective.
You can infringe a patent with out even knowing it exists, or having known
anything about it - does the same apply to copyright?
