Sigmer Technologies is seeking to fill the key position of PHP Developer 
in our Brighton Office.

Sigmer Technologies provides bespoke and packaged software applications 
and IT solutions to the corporate, charity and public sectors. Our 
clients include British Sky Broadcasting, The International Save the 
Children Alliance, British Film Institute, Scottish and Newcastle U.K. 
and United Nations organisations.

The Company was founded in 1999 and is based in The Sussex Innovation 
Centre at the University of Sussex, Falmer, Brighton where the majority 
of our 30 staff are located.

Our core service and product offerings include:

. IT consultancy.

. Website consultancy - including usability and accessibility

. Application design and development

. Database design and development

. Internet/Intranet design, development and hosting

. Website content management solutions

Sigmer Technologies Ltd is looking for a PHP (Lamp) Developer to work in 
our Brighton office.
It is a permanent position. We are looking for people who are interested 
in developing their career with us, as we develop our software team.

Successful candidates should enjoy working in a challenging team 
environment; have the enthusiasm and ambition to complete projects to 
the highest standard and want to be part of an organisation that puts 
technology at the heart of everything it does.

We are looking for individuals with an ambition to succeed!

*Skills* *Range: *

	

. We are looking for a talented programmer to join our team; ability is 
more important than current skill set.

. Candidates with any level of experience will be considered from 
graduate through to Senior Developer.

. Commercial experience in Web Application development and/or software 
development is desirable.

. Experience of object oriented programming / modular programming is 
essential.

. Experience of the full software development lifecycle: from 
business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional 
specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery is essential.

. We have a growing number of projects that our new programmers will be 
involved in the future. We work on both Linux and Window platforms, and 
as such additional experience of:

. Java, Servlets, Perl, etc.

and

. C#, VB.NET, Microsoft SQL Server etc.

Would be desirable. You may be expected to learn new programming and 
scripting languages.

. Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal.

. And, enthusiasm and an interest in all the things Computer!
