Hi Paul,

Do you mean on the 'Start' menu shortcut? It's set to open in Powerpoint.

It just seems very odd that using a shortcut to open a file should
affect files opened from that file.

I've also just tried manually creating a shortcut to the Powerpoint
file, and it doesn't cause any errors.
