laptop: Macbook pro
price: £1100
After 12 years predominantly being a pc user I bought into a macbook
pro 2 months ago and am more than happy with my purchase. It was dear
compared to a pc but... in my case the facility of beeing able to run
both OSX & XP Pro it makes the transfer from mac to pc allot easier -
plus it's a portable dev/design unit and impeccably well built.
For the extra I paid over a pc laptop it was worth it. It has already
paid for itself.
fav bit = magnetic power connector (my mates traditional female/male
socket cost £130 to repair after it started comming loose)
