Hi Ben,
I think you are looking at a mod rewrite here in your .htaccess. Saying that
I'm not sure if its a good idea to have urls in the format:
http://myserver.com/http://another.com/index.html
i.e. url1url2
That looks like a phishing url to me. Maybe you can do something like this:
http://myserver.com/anotherWebsite-whatever_you_want_to_enter.html
This can be easily broken down using .htaccess and the url looks more
elegant too. You can try different variations to make your website SEO
friendly like http://myserver.com/whatever_you_want_to_enter~
