I think the log-in migration has annoyed a lot of Flickr and Upcoming  
users, and suspect del.icio.us will be next. I guess we all knew this  
was coming when Yahoo bought these sites. I'm just amazed it's taken  
so long.

One of the most annoying things was being forced to register for a  
Yahoo account, and ending up with andybudd72 instead of just  
andybudd. If you're keen to protect your online identity, it's  
probably worth registering your name on every major site and app,  
just on the off chance that you may use it at some stage.

However the good thing is it forced me to go and set up an open ID  
using my Yahoo login for authentication.
