There are much better things to boycott than starbucks,
because whatever bad they do, you can choose fair trade coffee, and thus
help change them by using market forces,
and because society needs places for people to form communities and
Starbucks is fast becoming the new church.
When I say new church I'm thinking 19th century religious fever replaced
with coffee addiction, with the choir replaced by baristas and the
priest by a cardboard cup.
