Thanks Jay,

Looks very useful.

Considering getting my client to upgrade to PHP5 on their server and perhaps
looking at using the DOM for XML in PHP5.

Don't torture yourself trying to use the (undocumented/badly
documented/wrongly documented* delete as appropriate) php4 DOM
methods.
