Don't go sky unless your willing to pay through the nose, for unreliable
equipment that you own not lease (and believe me when I say thats a bad
thing) I used to sell extended warranties by warm calling their new
customers, about 30% had experienced some kind of major fault before
they were even called;<RANT>by some poor university student enquiring if
they were enjoying their service and that not only were they highly
valued customers but surely they would like to spend money on a
worthless piece of paper because unbeknownst to them they now owned some
propitiatory piece of equipment worth £400 quid to replace and hell
would freeze over before sky would replace it.</RANT>

P.S. even the v expensive extended warranties don't cover everything.
