A 56k voice/fax modem plugged into your fax line and attached to a
computer running winfax, cheyenne bitware or some other fax software
would be fine. The software will set up a printer which is basically
you fax machine. When you want to fax a document you just send the
document to that printer and enter a fax number when prompted.
Receiving faxes, if memory serves me correctly, shouldn't involve any
user input at all.
