[BNM] Buying a macbook & haggling for extras

Considering buying a macbook (though I may go for a Dell instead, but
I don't want to make this a flamewar about what's the best idea) -
however, I'm interested in whether people have had any luck going to
the stores and haggling to get extras thrown in (things like DVI
adapters, mice, keyboards, etc) and/or knocking prices down, or
whether that's a fruitless idea and I'm better off just ordering one
online if I choose to go with an Apple.
