Iestyn - this from FAQ:

Your password is the same one that you used to log in to the website to
download the client. If you can't remember that one, you can request a new
password at http://www.joost.com/forgot.html. Just remember to use the email
address you originally signed up/got invited with.

If you've double-checked the email address and changed the password to
something that is easy to remember on the site and you're still not
successfully connecting, then the most likely problem is that you're using
an HTTP proxy to connect to the internet. Right now we do not support HTTP
proxies, so you will have to find an un-proxied connection to run Joost™
software.
