Well like I said, they only bought the system lock, stock and barrel from
Verisign recently. They are trying really hard to get the documentation
written/corrected and for it to work in the developer section but there are
still a load of holes. 
 
I’m not under the impression that PayPal Pro *is* that heavily used at the
moment for custom work (but I maybe wrong). It would be interesting to hear
other people’s opinions if they have done this already.
 
We were also working with three currencies which probably complicated
things. 
 
We did end up with a really good support contact on Skype who helped us
through a lot of the issues but it was very frustrating considering how easy
it is to set up the normal PayPal (in fact compared to any of the other
gateways). If anyone wants her Skype then give me a shout off list.
