[BNM] Getting Information about Search Terms Using AWStats

How does the search mechanism work? If it redirects the user to a page, or
makes a call to something like http://foo.com/search.php?q=searchterm then
you may be able to filter the AWStats information to only contain URL's
which contain 'search.php' . You can then browse the query strings and
should be able to see the search terms.

If that doesn't work, you could look at other analytics software (I'd
recommend Google Analytics or Mint) - you should be able to customize those
to suit your needs.

The other option is to modify whatever handles the search requests, so while
its retrieving the search results it also stores the search term ina
database or something.
