[BNM] Dumb PHP question

I am not suggesting that it is unworkable (it evidently isnt), however any
code that a programmer has to work with that is not related to the algorithm
that they are implementing is an unnecessary overhead and reduces the
quality of the solution.

The initial cost writing code is only a small part of the life time cost
- generating code may be quick and simple, but once it is generated it has
to be maintained for ever.

Programming languages are for human consumption (else just use machine code)
anything predictable, standard or routine should be factored out of the
application code and into the language/libraries.
