Good afternoon,

We are looking for a good UK based hosting company. I have a few client
projects that need hosting, but I'm also looking to host one of my own
sites: www.fanchants.com ­ it plays recorded audio files of footy chants, is
fairly popular (currently 2,000 visits, 17 pv¹s per visit /day and rising)
and consequently fairly heavy in bandwidth usage, as each chant is
previewed/ played ­ we have over 1,500 chants listed. We¹re just about to
launch the version 2 of the site so keen to make the switch for launch.

The following is what we need:

A UK IP address ­ for Fanchants isn't currently classed as a UK site by
Google, as it doesn¹t have either a .co.uk domain nor UK based IP address.
FastCGI
Python 2.4+
Mysql 5+
Automated backup?


For the client sites it would be ideal to have a dedicated server in the
long run.

For Fanchants though a cheap virtualserver might do the trick.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as it¹s a right buggers muddle
trying to find anything decent through Google.
