[BNM] [OT] Hard disk vs mini-DV

On a slight angle to the main issue -- having looked at remote storage
options recently (particularly Amazon S3) I thought it was rather funny that
people were taking about the cost of keeping their music online...

In a sensible networked world, you would never have to store your music
online - you would have the right to re-download it from the original
source(s) on demand for free (or nominal charge)...

Think of the tera-bytes upon tera-bytes being consumed (and paid for) by the
millions and millions of duplicate copies of popular tracks - madness.
