hello all

My football team has started training again for next season and we're
recruiting new players.

We're called Montpelier Villa, we play in the Brighton Saturday League
and we have three teams - this covers just below County League
standard down to those who know the rules, and can face the right way.

We play at Sussex Uni on lovely pitches [used by the Albion] and we
drink in the Constant Service in Hanover [since a large proportion of
us are muesli mountaineers/students/sandal-wearing Guardian readers]

We will be training in Preston Park between 6.15 and 8.00 on Thursdays
until mid-September, when we switch to all wweather pitches at Sussex
uni. The season starts the first weekend of September and runs till
March.

Please feel free to come down and give it a try - we're down the
bottom of the park. Especially if you're a 30-a-season centre
forward... ours just graduated and has gone travelling.
