[BNM] Wireless Extender Problem

Very encouraging!!

I'm sure you don't need the extender wired into the network.

My understanding was that it just picks up an existing signal and boosts it
in a weak signal area. Surely can't be that hard to get it working! I'll
be on the phone to Belkin Tech Support if this little bugger doesn't work!

Will keep you posted.

Alan

Good luck and keep us posted as to how you get on lol. I also tried doing
this, and ... gave up. Now my Belkin extender is a lovely paper weight in
the corner of the lounge lol. My computers just seemed to get confused when
both the original AP and the extender were turned on. The extender /
repeater wasn't physically connected to the wired network, not sure whether
it needed to be. I (possibly wrongly) assumed that it would just forward
the traffic to the main AP. Are well, money well spent on more IT junk lol.
Regards

PJ
