[BNM] wireless strength measurement

Hello,

Not sure if this is too specific sorry. And not related to any panorama 
scare mongering!

Is anyone using hardware from National Instruments (NI or similar) to 
measure (relative) strength of wireless signals? We've got a cheap deal 
from National Instruments on using Labview (data capture/analysis software) 
and are trying to find a nice use to show it off to research users.

Looking at wind,rain,sunlight too but a GPS/Wireless strength tool might be 
a nice way to map out coverage around campus of wireless signals. It's just 
for demoing really. On reflection everyone talks about the weather so may 
be that's a better topic.
