I guess it really depends on the role, the company and the =20
motivation. I'm sure some employers don't put a salary down because =20
it's low and they don't want to put people off. This is obviously a =20
dumb move as people will find out at the interview and be =20
disappointed. If this looks likely, then I can't blame people for not =20
applying.

 From our point of view, we've published a few job ads without =20
salaries, because the salary was really dependant on the persons =20
experience and expectation. We started out with a range in mind, but =20
that changed after speaking with people. If we'd have gone with our =20
original range, we wouldn't have ended up with the right person for =20
the job.

The more we recruit the more we'll get used to these issues. However =20
I wonder if an ambiguous salary range like =A325-35k+ can prove as =20
problematic as no rage at all?
