Barry,

It may not be quite what your after, but after playing around with numerous
to-do applications, I've settled on using a small wiki application.

It's a single file that sits locally on my machine and loads every time I
open Safari. As I have my browser open most of the day it's surprisingly
turned out to be the best place to have my to-do list!

Although this version is based locally, there is a larger version that this
is based on called TiddlyWiki which is server based...

...so potentially it has the benefit that any of your team can view/edit
entries. Not sure about the email functionality though.

I know it's not a dedicated to-do application per-se, but I've found it
really useful. Hope it helps.
