Lo all

Happy new year and all that. Us happy monkeys at G2 Support are giving away
5 of our online backup accounts to the first five freelancers who sign up
for our newsletter. The accounts all feature a 5GB storage limit including
MySQL backup and include a full years subscription. This is open only to the
hordes of downtrodden freelancers (we know who you are, muhahaha) who need
all the help they can get.

All you have to do is go to www.g2support.com and choose the newsletter link
at the bottom of the page and sign up. What we ask is that you are a
freelancer and you mention us, and the service, on your own blogs or sites.
These accounts will be limited to file and MySQL backups, and wont support
any of the other options that we offer unless you upgrade.

Our backup storage network is currently spread over three locations, with
each location storing an encrypted copy of your data, which is encrypted
before it leaves your machine and can only be access using your own
encryption passphrase (so best not to loose it!). Restoration can be done
via the G2 backup client or we can send you a hard copy on DVD or removable
hard disk.

If you are a company and you want to know more about our backup services go
to www.g2support.com/backups. We offer a range of packages, including onsite
storage units to give you instant access to your data, as well as support
for Exchange, SQL Server, and others. We can also offer charitable discounts
and remote installation for any organisation that has a registered charity
number.

In the next month we will be announcing a very affordable and simple
home-user package, and before the end of the year we hope to have released
the first of our onsite backup server units. Surely that's cause enough to
sign up to the newsletter on its own. :)

Olly
