er no it isn't, but then if you go for the cheapest deal you can find 
then maybe it is, i've lost count of the number of times i've lost a 
client on the basis of saving £5 a month only to welcome them back when 
they find that £5 a month saving doesn't compensate them for having 
appaling levels of actual service and support. When you take into 
account that the raw cost of providing an 50:1 ADSL connection is 
somewhere between £11 and £25 per month (depending on speed, means of 
connection to BT and additional services) then that doesn't leave much 
to pay for a support department. It amazes me that when companies and 
individuals rely so much on their net connection that they still go for 
the cheapest deal. Clive you for instance give your job title as Online 
editor, if ever there was a job that required you to be online then i 
guess yours is it.

let's use an analogy: You're a professional display skydiver, do you 
choose the cheapest parachute you can find despite there being pages and 
pages of complaints about them not opening or do you pay a bit more for 
one that is designed to do the job you need it to do not just hit a 
price point.
