Simpliest: get them to enter the number of pages and work out the price
from there.
More complicated: get them to upload a copy of the manuscript, count
pages (or words and work back from there by dividing by an average
words-per-page figure worked out based on some example documents), then
give a price based on that.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. The latter option is
more difficult because of having to choose a format for the document, or
coding up based on various formats.
