[BNM] Domain Backorders

Hi,
Backordering just attempts to register the domain the moment it
expires. So if this guy just keeps paying his registration fee's I
doubt you could snatch it. I'm sure there are a few illegal ways
where you could 'pose' as him and change the registration details to
yours. But that would ultimately lead a trail straight back to you
and get a knock on the door from the boys in blue.
If the guy is not responding to his emails then his email details may
have changed - especially if the site is 4 years out of date.
Maybe you could find an alternative address by doing a whois on the
domain records or even emailing his host and ask them nicely to pass
on the message on your behalf.
Good luck!
Steve
