Yes.
Everything you do on the web can be tracked back to an IP address.
That's how the internet works. If you want to, every single
communication from your IP address to a particular server can be
logged.
If it helps, think of the internet as the postal network, and your
packets as postcards, each of which has a mandatory "From" address
stamped on it, so the destination of the postcard can respond to it.
If you are very paranoid, they you need to look into the cypherpunks,
and their anonymising proxies. Good luck.
