On both services, you can set them as private so the archives aren't
available to the public, and I've never been able to get in to one by
doing any searches.
However, you are using a service from a search engine, so there's always
the chance someone will bugger up somewhere and expose all the files at
some point. I can't see a way around that unless someone can recommend a
forum service which has good security - things like phpBB can have
members-only areas which won't be spiderable, so that would give you
what you want.
